Automatic Power Factor Correction Panel for Industrial Electrical Systems
An Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) Panel is used to manage reactive power compensation in industrial electrical systems. By monitoring system conditions and controlling capacitor switching according to the configured requirements, the panel provides a centralized solution for power factor correction.
The BOSTENE Automatic Power Factor Correction Panel can be configured according to project electrical requirements. A typical system integrates a reactive power controller, capacitor banks, switching devices, protection components and associated control wiring within an electrical enclosure.
The controller monitors electrical conditions and manages capacitor-bank switching according to the configured compensation logic. The final capacitor capacity, number of stages, component arrangement and protection design should be determined from actual project data.

Applications
APFC panels can be configured for electrical systems in:
- Industrial plants and production facilities
- Commercial and infrastructure electrical systems
- Motor-intensive electrical installations
- Distribution systems requiring reactive power compensation
Suitability depends on the actual load profile and electrical conditions.
For an accurate APFC panel quotation, provide:
System voltage and frequency — for example, the actual three-phase supply conditions at the installation.
Transformer capacity or system capacity — helps establish the scale of the electrical system.
Current and target power factor — provides the basic information needed to evaluate the compensation requirement.
Load information — especially whether the system contains motors, variable frequency drives, UPS equipment or other nonlinear loads.
Required compensation capacity — provide the required kVAR if it has already been calculated by your electrical engineer.
Single-line diagram — when available, this is useful for understanding the existing distribution system and connection arrangement.
